ABOUT LAWRENCE B. SEIDMAN

Mr. Seidman is the founder, President, and Portfolio Manager of Veteri Place Corporation and has approximately 25 years of experience as Portfolio Manager. 

Prior to that, Mr. Seidman was a consultant, President and General Counsel to Menlo Acquisition Corporation. Before that, he was the general partner of Seidman Financial Associates, L.P.

Mr. Seidman was an attorney, first with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an associate in two law firms: Regan, Goldfarb, Heller, Wetzler & Quinn and; Hannoch, Weisman, Stern & Besser.  Mr. Seidman was also the founding member and principal shareholder of his own law firm, Seidman & Rappaport, P.A..

Mr. Seidman has served on the Board of Directors of a number of companies including Ambanc Holding Company, Inc., ASB Bancorp, Inc., Center Bancorp, Inc., CNY Financial Corporation, Crestmont Federal Savings & Loan, First Federal Savings & Loan Association of East Hartford, MSB Financial Corp., Naugatuck Valley Financial Corporation, South Jersey Financial Corporation, and Stonegate Bank.  Mr. Seidman currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bankwell Financial, Inc. and its banking subsidiary Bankwell Bank (since August 2020).

Mr. Seidman graduated with a BS in Marketing Management from St. Peter’s College, and earned a J.D. from American University School of Law.  Mr. Seidman also attended the Georgetown University Tax Masters Program.

ABOUT ARTHUR M. WEIN

Mr. Wein’s professional banking experience began at Citibank, N.A. where, as Senior Project Team Leader, he carved cash management operations out of the commercial lending business to form the CitiCash Management Division (CMD). He then served as CMD’s Applications Development department head where he designed and implemented a billing and information system for 7,000 customers and established and managed the infrastructure, incentives, and all tracking and control for the Sales Department.

Prior to that, Mr. Wein was recruited to operate and upgrade the Diamond Dealers Club of NY (Commodity Exchange) where, as Executive Director, he supervised all staff support including Trading Floor Facility, Specialized Security, IT, Scales (Carat Weighing), Arbitration Process, Mail and Fulfillment, Private Restaurant, Liaison with Police Department and all Trade Publications, while representing industry interests in Washington. He was instrumental in establishing the Diamond Bourses of Moscow and Bangkok and taught Diamond Trading Facility Infrastructure and Operations to appointed management of these new facilities.

Before his tenure at Diamond Dealers Club of NY, Mr. Wein joined Union Center National Bank as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Human Resources. His major responsibilities included Operations, IT, Compliance, Marketing, Facilities, Security (Physical and Cyber), serving as the Regulatory Liaison with the OCC, and negotiating Outsourcing Agreements to provide core account processing services. Concurrently, as head of HR, Mr. Wein was responsible for Payroll, Benefits, Corporate Events, and Succession Planning.

When Union Center National Bank merged with ConnectOne Bank, Mr. Wein was appointed Integration & Project Management Officer to integrate legacy Union Center into ConnectOne and to structure the combined bank for ongoing growth.

Mr. Wein served on the Board of Directors of a number of companies including Jewelers of America, Blenheim Group USA, Diamond & Jewelry Industries Development Corporation, UTZ Technologies, Inc., and PKW Distributors.

Mr. Wein is a graduate of Wesleyan University (BA), the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University (MBA), the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and the Wharton Leadership Program.
